Library Services

In 1989, a branch of the South Wales Miners' Library was opened at Banwen Community Centre in the Dulais Valley to support the pioneering Community University of the Valleys.

The Library is primarily for the use of Swansea University students studying at Banwen Community Centre, but any part-time student and Swansea University staff member is entitled to borrow items from the Library.

Members of the public can also have borrowing rights through the ATLIS - Open To All Scheme. Please ask Mandy in the Library for more details.
